We produce single and double torsion springs for specific needs, with formed legs in various shapes and lengths.
Single springs are torsion cylindrical helical springs stressed, by means of two ends of the helix itself, by a torque acting on a plane perpendicular to the axis of the spring body. The torque causes tensions, of which the bending tension is predominant.
Double torsion springs are more complex and consist of two cylindrical helical springs obtained from a single suitably folded wire. The ends are a central one which joins the two windings plus two side ones.
The size of wire used ranges from a diameter of 0.30 mm to 3.00 mm.

Mollificio Brescia has a wide range of raw materials in stock.
The most commonly used from those available are:

  • Pre-galvanised carbon steel wire: according to UNI EN 102 70/1 standard in SM, SH and DH classes.
  • Stainless steel wire: according to UNI EN ISO 6931-1 standard type 1.4310, 1.4310 HS, 1.4401 and 1.4568.
  • Pre-hardened steel wire: according to EN 10270-2 standards in FD, TD and VD classes.
  • Carbon steel strips annealed or hardened according to EN10132-4 standard.
  • Stainless steel strips according to EN 10088-2 standard 1.4310 type.
  • Wires and strips in copper and copper alloys such as brass and phosphor bronze according to UNI EN 12166 standard.

Thanks to our network of suppliers we can offer surface finishes such as:
